Michigan landed a big name as its first commitment for the 2010 recruiting class: Tim Hardaway Jr.
Hardaway's father was a dynamic point guard and NBA all-star who played 13 seasons and scored more than 15,000 career points.
Dave Telep of Scout.com reports Hardaway Jr., a 6-4 shooting guard at Miami's Palmetto High, relies on his jumpshot and averaged 24 points as a junior. Scout ranks Hardaway as a three-star prospect. He also had interest from Minnesota and Kansas State.
