Under tubby, it was an issue of not having a backup pg after Joseph transfered. Then it was having 4 guys on the court who couldn't shoot the 3. Now it's having almost no one on the roster IN THE BIG TEN who has strength, who can set picks, and get meaningful rebounds.

Against Iowa and Nebraska we were smaller and weaker at every position and we couldnt turn them over and get enough easy backets to make up for it.

Pitino needs a real sf 6-5 to 6-7 and at least 195lbs. He also needs a juco pf with some muscle to bang and not foul out like our freshmen might in 15 minutes.

Next years recruiting class is the same size wise. We have no sf or pf. I am sick of undersized sg, sf, pf in this league.

We have to get a Juco PF. A lunch pail guy who can put a body on people, screen, box out, rebound and add toughness. Gaston looks more physical than I'd imagined, but he can't be "the guy" next year. Bakary had a nice showing last night with 7 (?) rebounds. Nwanko is a powerful 6'9" Center who should help with rebounding and physicality right away, but he'll probably live in foul trouble like many young bigs. It's be great to add a rugged 6'7-6'8" PF who could shoulder some of the heavy lifting next season while the young bigs continued to get stronger/more experienced.

WTF missed dunks aside, a guy like Andre Ingram would give this team some quality minutes.
