In 2005, Kill's SIU Saluki's went 9-4; a drop from 2004's 10-2. Since then:

2006: 9 wins
2007: 12 wins

Left to NIU (2007 NIU: 2 wins):

2008: 6 wins
2009: 7 wins
2010: 10 wins

Left to Minnesota (2010 Minnesota: 3 wins):

2011: 3 wins
2012: 6 wins
2013: 8 wins
2014: 8+ wins

Pretty amazing stuff. I wonder if any other coach in the country could claim that.

He had the same of streak from when he first became a head coach in 1994, all the way through the 2004 season you mentioned. That is insane.
 

But is Kill the right guy for the job?
