Seth Rosin has been invited to the Cape Cod Summer League which is a pretty big deal. Alot fo top talent and Scouts watching. Will be a good opportunity to see Seth against some Big Time talent and see if he will be ready to take the #1 spot next year.

Louisville Slugger Freshman All American team includes three Gophers. It should be noted that alot of guys make this team but it's still a very nice accomplishment.

Nick O’Shea, Minnesota — An All-Freshmen Big Ten pick, O’Shea hit the most homers by a freshman (10) since 1998 for the Golden Gophers. He also hit 13 doubles and knocked in 41 runs.

A.J. Pettersen, Minnesota — A second team Big Ten selection, Pettersen had 23 multi-hit games as he recorded a .348 batting average with 7 doubles and 41 RBIs. He also was superb on defense.

Justin Gominsky, Minnesota — A member of the Big Ten All-Freshmen team, Gominsky hit .336 with 10 doubles, 23 RBIs and swiped 10 bases. He also had 7 outfield assists.

Nice to see. All of these guys did some really good things this season. Hopefully, these honors will serve as a springboard toward some big things down the road. :D:D
