Found in Jeff Goodman's blog. Looking at the list of 17 invitees for 12 spots, it seems like there isn't many other post players vying for spots on the team, so RSIII might stand a good chance of making the team:

Here’s the roster for the U19 Men’s World Championship Team Trials – which will be held June 16-18 in Colorado Springs:

The players must be born on or after June 1, 1990 and will compete for 12 spots on the 2009 USA U19 World Championship Team – which will leave for New Zealand on June 25.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this. Baring injury, this can only be a good thing for the Gophers and Ralph.

A little surprising but I suppose that birthday cutoff rules out most centers. Should be a good experience for Ralph if he does make the team. I'm expecting a big year from him this year.

Can't wait to see how the this year's newcomers improve. I think Iverson will get a lot better too so it should be a battle for that starting spot at center now that we're deep at power forward.

Mychal Thompson's son, Klay, has a chance, too

Sampson

Wow!! What a great opportunity. The team looks really small, so he has a great chance. Most of the forwards are small even. It looks like they should've gave Iverson a chance, they could use his bulk!
