Wow, that had to be a huge surprise to Purnell. Definitely affects Clemson heading into the season, one would think.

Anybody ever watch this guy play? He was 2-19 (combined) in Clemson's first round tournament losses over the last 2 years. Was he a good player that just didn't play well in the tourney?

His forte was 3-point shooting. Obviously Oglesby struggled in the games you mentioned. I would think in most cases that when a team loses a guy who averaged more than 13 ppg as a sophomore, it hurts to lose him. He & Booker are the two guys I figured Clemson would be relying on the most next season.
