**So far it looks like Ed DeChellis got the message that he needs to upgrade the Nitts' nonconference schedule. A nice start with what we know.

**I like what Bill Carmody is doing. Already the Wildcats are playing several BCS', and a top-shelf mid-major (Butler) as the back end of a home-and home. Someone tell me again why the Gophers can't get a home-and-home with a BCS program? Dan Monson was able to do it on many occasions, i.e. Georgia, Iowa State, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas Tech. If he can pull it off, so can a coach of Tubby Smith's stature.

St. Joe

Is St. Joe confirmed by a source more reliable than Sid, yet?

ohio state plays at butler on a date to be determined.

I'm certainly not going to defend our poor scheduling (Although this season looks promising). That said, I would say that a major program would rather play at NU than at the Barn.

You can add Iowa State to the Iowa schedule. They play every year.

Holy Man, I wouldn't call Saint Joe's a done deal, but a rep of its athletic department told me it sounds like they're working on a date for the first of a home and home (in Minnesota) this season.
