GAME #13: Gophers (10-2) v. Texas A&M Corpus Christi (who cares) [12/28-BTN-7:30PM]

Final tune up before we enter the gauntlet known only as the Big Ten Conference. Hopefully we don't see any injuries and it will be interesting to see if Wally and/or Buggs get any playing time in this one. I hope we continue to see McNeil develop and hold on to his spot in the rotation, I really think he could be key for us as the season goes on.

Madtown likes McNeil. Hope he plays many minutes tonight. I want to see OO make shots.

I'm interested to see what Mo and McNeil can do tonight. Both guys are somewhat mysteries going into B1G play.

*Btw, how come no coverage of the game yet?! It's 7:33... BTN still doing postgame recaps.

Not sure Joey King will be able to stay competitive come B1G play if he can't rebound. Really not liking what he's brought to the table so far tonight. You'd think that a few of the rebounds that come right to him he could end up with. Mo's looked good to this point however!

If Wally gets no time tonight and McNeil does -- would that be a safe bet that Wally has checked out of the U?

Just an off the top of my head thought to ground up some discussion.

Go Gophers!!

Dre, Deandre, and Mo are the only three playing well to thus point. Oto also having a decent game! Austin, King, and EE have to start playing alot better though.

Mathieu has clearly been the team leader so far this game. Austin is starting to pick up his play a bit as well. Not much production at all from our frontcourt. Mo with 5 pts and that's about it.

Blake, Damien and Abushamala all looking classy in the front row with their dates....

Let's go with only players can call a t o unless there is already a stoppage.

Reminds me of the time when my girlfriend would go to games with me.... That's what you would call a "One - and - Done!" :D

He's been on the bench most of the half with foul trouble, but early on had made a few jumpers.

How much time has andre spent on the bench with foul trouble this year? Seems to me it has been a lot.

Boy, Andre sure doesn't have a keen eye for finding the open man. He needs to start passing the ball ever once in a while.

mav = hands of stone

He just fumbled a rebound that came right to him over to the other team. Definitely thought of this post when I saw him do that.

Edit: He just let another rebound off Mo's missed FT roll right out of his left hand. What's up with this?!

Boy did he. Couldn't believe that one.

Man, our rebounding looks like a real weakness. Austin also VERY inconsistent on his perimeter shooting, as usual, although I will say Austin has been our best rebounder. We look sloppy!

Gophers are 12-22 on Free Throws tonight.

Eliason just hit the bottom of the rim on an open layup. That was kind of funny! (A bit concerning at the same time)

Man I can't wait for B1G season. This is terrible.
