Quick question(s).

1st - Are the gophers in an early season tournament next year? If so, which one?

2nd - Does anyone know the cost of going to one of these, if through a charter?

Thanks in advance.

Go Gophers!!

I had been wondering about this as well. If it is the preseason NIT it really is only potential for 2 games against major programs and the other 2 games would be at The Barn against weaker teams.

Paradise Jam has a REALLY weak field this year. Maybe the fact we are trying to get in means we really are going to play Louisville and maybe even another solid team in non conference.

Amelia mentions there are "rumblings" about the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas.

Looks like she either heard some new information or just agreeing with Marcus.

I like what I've been hearing the past few days about our schedule for next season. Being able to sell a national TV game against Louisville and playing a game or two in Madison Square Garden is great ammo to land a player like Vaughn.

I'd be cool with the NIT Season Tip-Off. The Gophers would be one of the four regional hosts, so it'd mean a couple home games to get to Madison Square Garden, + season-ticket holders would get a couple bonus games involving the other three teams. The first round would be a cupcake, for sure, but there's a decent chance the 2nd-round game would be a better quality home opponent than anyone the Gophers traditionally schedule.
