Great Story on the quarterback of the original Little brown jug team

I recently met his grandson. I had never heard of him before and wonder why he is not listed on the Gopher Sports web site. His grandson indicated his ashes were spread in memorial stadium on the eve of the michigan game a year after his death.

I liked the story. It would be fun to have a nonconference game where the coaches were not allowed to call the plays from the sidelines. Of course it wouldn't work today because the money is too big and they would cheat with hand signals or some other way to communicate.
