Joey King still awaiting word on his eligibility for the 2013-14 season

A source close to King told me that Joey has yet to hear whether he will be eligible this season. The Gophers applied for three waivers for incoming transfers. Malik Smith was approved and Rakeem BUckles was denied. The Gophers' lack of frontcourt depth would take a severe hit, if King has to sit out this season.
