Jim Molinari promotes former Gopher Wade Hokenson to Associate Head Coach at WIU

Congrats Wade!!

"It is a privilege working at Western Illinois University and I am excited to serve this team and the athletics department in a new role," said coach Hokenson. "I want to thank Coach Molinari for this opportunity, and also coach (Billy) Wright and coach (Josh) Wolfe for all the time and energy they have invested into the mens' basketball program. I consider myself fortunate to work for one of the elite coaches in college basketball and will continue to work hard to develop young men both on and off the court."

Congrats Wade! Great guy form my hometown of Watertown, Minnesota!

Since Wade has been working for Coach Mo, I've gotten to know him a bit. He really is a great guy, extremely driven, bright, and knows the game. It's a great move for him, and WIU is very lucky to have both of them.
