Riley LaChance got offered by Davidson and Missouri this week Minnesota's Rick Pitino called today per his dad. Shooter with PG qualities.

Yea i have a buddy that wen to Brookfield (where hes from) and still does a little coaching there. From what hes been telling me about this kid hes not the most athletic kid but can really shoot and really score the ball. He started out the school year picking up only mid major offers and has been slowly gaining interest and hearing from bigger schools.

I watched LaChance the last couple years in high school and he can shoot off the bounce or catch but doesn't have the quickness/athleticism you'd expect of Pitino's guards. His coach plays a 2-3 zone on D all game every game. It's awful to watch. I could envision a scenario where LaChance played has been surrounded by some good players in AAU and if his shot is falling, coaches will look at him like a Hoffarber type-before every freaks out, they're similar because of size and stature, and they can shoot in transition and space the floor.
