Word is we threw everything at him and he just felt he had work he still wanted to do at Minny. You should be thrilled with what you got. Frankly, I never felt right taking him from you anyway as I've got alot of respect for your institution and I love that a guy like Tubby is there instead of Kentucky.

For as many " words " that were being passed on here and everywhere else that turned out to be false who knows if Tubby was ever in the mix for the UVA job in the first place.

Bennett is a great coach that many of us would've been elated to have two years ago. He did something at Washington State that was never accomplished before. Make sure your fellow fans support him.

It made for an amusing but stressful few days. Glad that one is over. I think you got a good coach in TB. I for one hope you guys kick some butt in the ACC.

Now we Gopher fans can move on to the next "job opening" for Tubby. Everyone wants him except Kentucky.
