I don't think i have ever seen any offense like the one Illinois runs. It's 100% crazy that a team can shoot that many 3s and survive, and in many cases, thrive. It's quite unique and frustrating as a fan of the team they are playing. This sounds extreme but I put the Illinois offense right up there with Grinnell. It's 3-pointers first, second and third. Just bananas.

Teams just play to their strenghths

They have nothing inside on offense. They have great shooters, therefore put up lots of 3's. We have athletes who play well in the open court and have trouble in the slow down half court. We need to run but its not happening against good big ten teams.
