That will be a can't miss. The exact words I used when I discussed the Iowa game with my brother the other night.

I remember watching NC State survive its 1st game vs. Pepperdine. I think it was the very last game of the 1st round. NC State had no business winning that game, came from behind, Pepperdine kept missing free throws, the rest became history.
 

April 4, 1983................

was the date of my last wager with a bookmaker. I quit cold turkey. One...I was out of money. Two..if N.C. St. can beat Houston, there are no sure things.

For the record....Houston was a 7 pt. fav, and I think that game put us on the path to the shot clock.
