ESPN, Yahoo, the AP, the Star Tribune, the Pioneer Press, NBC29 (dominate tv station in Charlottesville), and CBS 19 (weak 2nd station in Charlottesville) have all had various written and on-air reports that Tubby is staying in Minnesota. Most referencing Sid's column, but some referencing an interview on Monday.
Is this enough to convince UVA fans that he's not coming? No way. Jerry Ratcliff of the Daily Progress said he's coming, so surely he's right and everyone else is wrong. And Tubby's just a shrewd negotiator practicing 'coach speak' who's covering his flank in case the deal falls through.
