“That was a big key for us in tonight’s game, just to get moving on offense more, to get more space and that worked for us,” he said.

Thanks for the link and well said by Tubby. Hopefully, the motion will continue.

who knew offensive movement would be productive... just have to keep Mav off the floor as the offense comes to a hault when he takes the floor - not that monson weave, just the dribble for 28sec 28 feet from the basket. Hopefully the 'new' offense sticks!

Glad they saw fit to invent the concept of movement on offense. Will the innovation never cease!

The Onion's Version: Gopher Men's Basketball Team Benefits From New Offense That Doesn't Consist Of Four Players Standing Around.

Ok, this was against Nebraska. However, ball movement and bodies moving to open spaces will create opportunities. This team has zero consistent perimeter threats so B10 teams will continue to throw zones at them. If they can drive and find our horses low, we should be able to find some success. Yes, keep Mav on the bench. Turnover city with him in the game. Let's make a run boyz!

PrairieDog, I just want you to know that I have forwarded your introductory post on GopherHole to Tubby Smith. He immediately replied, "Wow, we never thought of that, thanks for the help."

Some how he managed not to think of off-the-ball movement until the Nebraska game. Better late than never. Hope this continues and we can roll over that crappy Iowa team. It'd be nice to be rolling when we hit MSU.

I'd say Dre and Austin are legitimate threats.

I'd say Dre and Austin legitimate threats.

Do not, I repeat, do NOT disagree with experts who claim " This team has zero consistent perimeter threats " and start new arguments. Thank you, station19.

Wow. The 8th best three point shooter in the big 10 is shooting 31%? Thats terrible.

Something is goofy with those stats. There are a bunch of missing players, sorry about that.

Could it be that there is a minimum number of attempts to qualify for the leaderboard, to prevent a situation where EE gets a turnover with 2 seconds left, chucks up a desperation heave, hits it, and it crowned the B1G's three point champion at 1-1?

I thought the same thing, but guys like Hulls and Stauskas who shoot a ton of threes were missing from their leaders and they are shooting well over 30%. What source does everyone use for their NCAA stats?
