I know Nebraska isn't a great team and I know there were fewer possessions against Wisconsin than usual, but we only turned the ball over 5 times tonight and 9 times against the Badgers according to ESPN. For a team that typically struggles with turnovers this is encouraging to see.
 



It's a good sign, but the competition matters. I just hope the team can build enough confidence in these two home games that it can propel them to a surprise in East Lansing.
 

We turned the ball over in the non conference a bunch of times against crappy competition too. This is good progress.

It was more a point that the competition we were playing tonight doesn't mean we aren't making progress. The competition shouldn't downplay the fact that we only had 5 turnovers because we've had 12 turnovers against far worse teams.
