See how the boys respond to another top 5 team at Home. Will they fold like other Tubby teams or man up with the home crowd behind them? A crossroad game for the direction of the season for sure.

Indiana isnt going to lose any home games- so suck it up in the 2d half and play better and we are really hurting with our bench players...

It's fun being a gopher fan, get your hopes up and get kicked in the crotch again. Can't get to the next level without some better bench players. How in god's name did Otto get a scholarship?

This loss, however bad, shouldn't be demoralizing.

Regroup and beat this Michigan team in Thursday night.

Classic Minnesota fan base and media response today will be sky is falling.

Playing the #1 ranked team in the nation going into the season, at their house, in a highly publicized game, the same week you won a road game in a very hostile environment. Duke isn't that good guys.

Our bench is fine, its not ideal, but its fine. Tubby's utilization of the bench thus far this year, got us this far.

Let's not start crapping our pants after a loss to a top five team in a building that lots of good teams will lose in this year (and this one isn't totally over yet, it wouldn't take the biggest comeback of all time for us to pull this one out). Even if we do go on to lose this game, we have a great chance to show what this team is all about against Michigan. We should come out and protect our home court like top-ten teams protect their home courts and make a statement against the Wolverines.

Wow, love those idiots who expect more?! What more could you want? Undefeated run to a Natl Title?! We were picked to finish 6th in the Big Ten!!!

This is our toughest game of the conf schedule!!!!

I'm glad this game isn't until Thursday, I'm thinking they're gonna need a little time to recover from this last week, especially today.

Example?

How bout as recently as last year when they were 12-1 non conference and went 6-12 in the B10 and lost 5 of the last 6.

Why do you come to a fan board since you clearly are no fan....just a guy/gal who wants to whine and piss and moan and make waves where people who actually are fans come to discuss our teams and share in the experience. Change your moniker to Gopherthepain because you cause pain to the rest of us.

Sorry I am a fan and tell me one thing that I said that was not factual.

Hmmm...I wonder if there is any correlation to an injury to your best player, and having the team record do a 180? I don't think you understand what "folding" is.

Trevor is not their best player (Dre is way more important), but they did miss him. They still should have won more than 6 B10 games and the NIT run at the end proved that.

Dre was not "Stud" Dre Hollins early in the year with his injuries and stuff. Virtually all of the guards are vastly improved this year compared to their seasonal work last year except mayeb Welch IMO. Trevor was definitely their best player when he went down. They had to learn and grow without him, which in turn probably made that injury a blessing in disguise for the program as a whole when it comes to this year cause they've definitely learned and grown quite well.

Yes...our three starting FR, one So and one JR should have done a better job of winning games after our best play goes down with a season ending knee injury. How many NCAA teams, or top conference teams started a line up like this and made the NCAA? Kentucky with 5 - 5 start recruits. Who else mad the NCAA's with 3 FR & 1 So starting on their squad? So "SHOULD" they have won more games or did they win exactly the right amount considering who they had?

Yes they "should have".

gopherinpain - Question, any injuries come into play? Duh! I HATE simple minded idiots.

Since you are so sophisticated you would recognize that the team's performance began to improve when Tubby gave Dre more playing time, let him play through his mistakes and allowed the team to run a little bit more.

Team improved when Dre and Coleman got more playing time last year.

Dre was hurt through most of the non-conference...his playing time wasn't limited by Tubby...it was limited by his ankle and his conditioning. If you look at last year...he wasn't fully healthy until the end of the Big Ten play leading into the tourny. As for Coleman...he had several good games in Non-conference schedule...but his game really opened up after Mbakwe got hurt and Rodney moved to 4 so Joe could play more on the wing.
