Per an earlier promise, I am starting a thread to admit that I was wrong about Tubby Smith's salary. Mods, please sticky to the top of the forum so that all can hurl their virtual tomatoes at me.

Though I was wrong about his salary, at least I'm not a U of M-hating wannabe journalist who somehow finagled his way into being a contributor for a website that supports the school and coach that he openly hates. I can rest easy at night knowing that I'm not that.
 

Join the club, dpo. Everyone that posts here has been wrong at one time or another, some of us many times over. I stopped counting years ago.
 

In the grand scheme of things it's not the end of the world that Tubby Smith makes a few hundred thousand dollars more than we all thought he did,nor do I get why anyone cares, big time coaches in big time college athletics make the big bucks, Tubby's salary is chump change compared Nick Saban
