THIS DAY IN GOPHER HISTORY- DECEMBER 6, 1966

MINNESOTA 71 DRAKE 68 (OT)
Gophers get 12 points & 14 boards from a senior small forward out of Rugby, North Dakota. Can you name him?
Drake has two terrific players. One is a tall forward who will go on to star in the ABA for a number of years with the Pacers. The other is a flashy guard who will go on to be a #1 draft pick of the Lakers. He will disappoint and last just 3 NBA seasons. Can you name him?

Paul Presthus is the Gopher player.
 

Isn't Rugby the center of North America or something like that? It's the center of something I think.

Shoot, everyone is correct, including Rugby being the geographical center of North America.
