Happy Thanksgiving to all the Gopher Hole Fans
 


There is a good deal of gnashing of teeth here on GH, so I thought on this Thanksgiving holiday weekend, I'd mention a few things I'm thankful for relating to Gopher sports. Feel free to add your own.

I'm thankful for:

- A football team going to a bowl game;
- A football team that can actually beat its non-con cupcake opponents;
- A basketball team that is competitive with even the best B1G teams;
- TCF Bank stadium and Williams Arena, two of my favorite venues in sports;
- Big Ten 1/2 ham sub with extra oil and their Spicy Wings -- delicious;
- GopherHole -- where I can vent and chat about my favorite sports teams when my wife is sick of hearing all my ranting about the same.

Tubtastic, there are reasons for your comment that is bolded. Some of the reasons are:

1. Commentors are anonymous.
2. Commentors are stressed out college students.
3. Commentors were abused as children, and are taking their suppressed anger out on GopherHole.
4. Some commentors do not drink enough.
5. Some commentors drink too much.
6. There is a shortage of PC referees.
7. Impatient fans expect perfection from our athletes who are human.
8. We all love each other, deep down.
 





Also thankful for Dre Hollins.
 

Yes today we should all be thankful for Dre.
 



Dre ain't gonna do this every game, but hot damn, man, when we need it, he has the potential to be a gatling gun that can mow down an opponent.
