Top 8 Conferences Head to Head

A quick update on the mana-a-mano conference comparison used in our Road to Selection Sunday columns. After a slow start, the Big 10 has won 8 straight vs. the ACC, Atlantic 10, Big East, Big 12, Mountain West, Pac 12, and SEC, including wins last night by Indiana (over Georgetown) and Michigan State (over Boise State).

Texas losing to Chaminade is flat out embarrassing. The B1G looks like it will be the top dog this year especially with the strong start. ACC has looked shaky at best with their preseason favorite getting absolutely blown out of the gym by Oklahoma State.

Let's just make it four straight ACC-B1G challenge wins and keep hitting that crumbling conference while its down.
