I'm assuming I'll get the Gophers game Thursday down here in southeast Iowa but does anyone know where I can find out for sure what games will be shown in each area? I know there is always a distribution map for the NFL but can't find anything for the NCAA. When I look ahead on the guide on tv it just says ncaa basketball but doesn't say which game it will be.

You are fine. And you can go on Cbsportsline.com where you can watch every game on your computer for free.

If you're a fan of the whole tournament and not just the Gophers, have DirecTV and can spare a few bucks, the March Madness package is definately worth it. Unless you actually don't mind watching on your computer, but that's no way to watch multiple games.

I would if I had the time. But I work in minor league baseball and we're really busy getting ready for the season so I don't know how much basketball I'll be able to watch, especially during the day Thurs and Fri. I'll watch the gophers though.

i live here in the des moines area and i fully expect the gophers game to be shown here. we are in iowa state land and since texas is a big 12 team, that helps our prospects.
you can also go to www.kcci.com which is des moines's cbs affiliate and check the program listings...should be available tomorrow

Your local CBS affiliate gets to pick which games they want to show. However, I don't think WCCO here in MPLS. can show the Metrodome games unless it is sold out.
I assume a Big 12/ Big Ten matchup would be the choice in Iowa.

I understand that. But I'd much rather watch the game on a big screen tv than a small computer screen. I just wanted to make sure I could watch the game on my tv at home because if I couldn't I would probably go to the local sports bar to watch it.

that is not true. WCCO 4 is showing the Dayton-West Virginia matchup at approximately 1:50 p.m. and the Southern Cal-Boston College game at 6:20 p.m. from the Dome. they are talking about switching the first game from Marquette-Utah State to Kansas vs North Dakota State.

hope not. would rather watch marquette-utah state as it will be a much more competitive game. KU v. fighting bison is likely to be a blow out in KU's favor.

College sports is about winning....and getting your team into the national spotlight. love em or hate them the Badgers got a Friday night prime time game. Similar to how Barry A grabbed that Sat primetime bowl game. Sure you lose, but everyone sees your squad. Can't wait til it's maroon and gold and commentators are explaining Ski-U-Mah

I just hope no one gives away the result while I'm at the hospital ... I want to watch the replay as if it was live!

Healing or being healed? If it's the former, don't get distracted. If it's the latter, best of luck!
