Solution to upgrading NC schedule

I know this is a complete pipe dream but why don't the powers that be within the 6 BCS conferences get together and draw up a plan where you would play a team from each of the other 5 conferences every year. Throw in the MVC or WAC or WCC or whatever to make it 6 games (3 home and 3 road). This would no doubt improve the SOS at the end of the year and give your season ticket holders a little more bang for their buck. Who would rather see at the Barn on a Saturday afternoon in late November or December??? NDSU, High Point, or the likes of a B12 or PAC10 team. I know it will never happen and logistics would almost be impossible since the Big East has 16 teams, but one can dream right?? Of course, the coaches would never allow it because getting to 20 wins would be more difficult and certain coaches cater their NC schedules to get to that number to keep a meaningless streak going...
