...and the other 3 are all from non-major conferences. Strange to say the least.

The only logical reason that Shabazz Muhammad isn't on the list is he hasn't been cleared yet. Muhammad, if eligible, should be right there with Cody Zeller in the running for NPOY. Muhammad might not be the #1 pick in the next NBA draft since the GMs value upside, but as far as production right now, he's #1 in my book.
