Norwood Teague: "We started a master facility plan."

Not sure what NT really offered in that interview, but let's give him some time.

Something to digest.

Like what though? He's already made clear he won't be announcing any personal changes for at least a few months. The facilities plan takes so long that "we've started" is about as much an announcement as you can expect. He's been on the job less than a month so you can't expect him to have suddenly reeled in a big fundraising haul. Perhaps the reason he didn't give anything to digest is that this early in his tenure there isn't anything digestible to talk about?

Wait! What? Do you mean to say that we can't expect instant gratification?

Sure, you're undoubtedly right about this and as such, perhaps the interview was a bit premature. To +19's point, I would have liked to see a question regarding Maturi's recent comments on Barn/practice facility and what if any role he has in the planning and whether his thoughts represent a wider opinion.
Rarely do we associate Gopher sports with instant gratification, but that being said, I want it and I want it now!

Of course, a follow-up asking about the timetable for finishing the plan would have been nice;)

It's in the 11th hour.

Such a plan is rarely ever 'finished'. It's a living document. In the case of the 'U', it may be more of a tidying-up process (what's already on the board/6-yr capital plan that already exists, what's been talked about but not pursued formally in the 6-year capital plan, etc.. let's get all the projects in one place) as opposed to some incredibly enlightening document that solves a lot of problems.
