And that is during a season when the Wildcats are HOSTING their ACC Challenge opponent (Maryland).
That means since the 2007-08 season, Northwestern has played host to five BCS opponents during the nonconference slate, Stanford three times, DePaul and Baylor. The Wildcats also will have hosted Butler twice (2009-10, 2012-13).
An additional note from Northwestern's web site -- The B1G is tentatively slated to release its league schedule in mid-August.
