I have a college basketball game that I update each year with all the Big Ten players. Most of the game is statistically based, but I also need subjective defensive rankings for each player.
Note that you should not consider shot blocking or steals, as those are already included.
Rather, defensive rating should be reflective of a player's ability to prevent his player from getting the ball and/or his ability to make shot-making difficult.
So, rank the following Gophers in order from best to worst defender:
Westbrook
Johnson
Nolen
Hoffarber
Sampson
Iverson
Carter
Joseph
Busch
Abu-Shamala
Bostick
Williams
