The fact that there have been so many other pranks leads me to believe that the "surprise" is hardly genuine, or they just aren't that bright.

From the Barn is right, looks fake, although well done. The Yankee prank with the arguing/face slap looks the most staged....but waiting until the 4th inning to bring them in was a good idea on their part.
These same guys also play actors in a bunch of random skits and sketches on the same site, so that's a huge red flag.
