Wally Elllenson and Rice Lake advance to Wisconsin high school playoffs

Wally Ellenson has helped lead Rice Lake to a 21-1 record this season. They are ranked second in Wisconsin's Division II, but will have to beat #1 Onalaska to the state tournament. The following is a look at their early playoff schedule. I plan to go to their expected matchup versus Onalaska at Eau Claire Memorial March 8th. Onalaska is led by junior guard Matt Thomas, who attended the Minnesota-Indiana game Sunday.

La Crosse Logan defeated Sparta 68-36 and will face Rice Lake Friday. Logan is 11-12 this season.
