Haven't had much chance to be on GopherHole, so apologies if this question has been asked already:

Assuming that Penn St loses tonight (they're down to Ill right now), but then they, MN, OSU, and Wisc all win this weekend. That would put all 4 at 10-8. Does anyone know how they would then be seeded in the BTT?

That seeding could make a big difference in who gets to the NCAAs.

Right now. Minnesota is in 5th place in the standings are there win last night. let say, all 4 wins this weekend. Penn State clinch the 4th seed, Minnesota will clinch the 5th seed and a first round bye. no matter what Wisconsin or Ohio State does.

Minnesota win this wekend over Michigan. we get a first round bye.

If Penn State loses tonight to Illinois (or to Iowa), we beat Michigan, and Wisconsin beats Indiana we are the 4th seed and Wiscy is the 5th seed and we meet in the BTT.

The tie breaker in a 3 or 4 team tie is the record against all teams tied.

Minn is 2-0 vs. Wisc,
Minn is 1-1 vs. PSU
Wisc is 2-0 vs. PSU

If OSU sneaks in there it doesn't impact the 4 & 5 seeds of Minn & Wisc.

If we win out, PSU wins out and MSU beats Purdue (@ E. Lansing)...PSU finishes 2, Illinois finishes 3, Purdue finishes 4 and we meet Purdue in the BTT.

It will be a lot easier to go through scenarios in an hour when the Illinois @ PSU game is over but I hope that helps.
