Didn't see a thread about the rivalry game yet.

Let's get pumped!!

Huge, huge game. Needing three of the last six to get to .500 sounds a lot easier than four out of the last six (probably four out of the last five with Ohio State in the on deck circle).

Also, anyone catch the Pepsi commercial during last night's Super Bowl with "On, Wisconsin"? There goes me buying their products.

Did not see that. But I will only be drinking Coke now.

All Pepsi products (at least in the Midwest) are bottled in Wisconsin. The WIS-PAK on the top represents the company that does the distributing. You can see the plant when driving through Wisconsin on I-90 (I think it's I-90).

Bo's new book.

Always was a Coke guy, myself.

This game is huge. As Gopher07 mentioned, a win makes our path to the tourney a lot more manageable. With last year being my first as an official Gopher, it was really tough only being able to see these teams play once in Madison. "Can't wait." -Bart Scott

Indeed, Bart, indeed.....this is a big one here.

pretty sure pepsi-americas (was headquartered in minneapolis and owned by the pohlad familky) and pepsi bottling group (was headquartered in somers, ny) were the 2 largest pepsi bottlers in the world until they both allowed themselves to be bought by pepsi partent, pepsico.

actually, the original title of that tune was "minnesota, minnesota" when first written in the early 1900's. that is until becky badger wasn't clever enough to come up with their own original song and had to take this cast-off that the U of M didn't and doesn't want. Minnesota Rouser all the way baby!

I think you guys missed the point of this thread; to make fun of wisconsin as much as possible. ;)

Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, a classy Wisconsin Fan and an old drunk are
walking down the street together when they simultaneously spot a
hundred dollar bill. Who gets it?

The old drunk, of course; the other three are mythical creatures.

Haha. Though I realize many 'Holers would stomp on the idea of making fun of Wisconsin as much as possible, I'm limiting myself to just making fun of UW. I always get a chuckle out of Minnesotans and Wisconsinites going back and forth. As someone who has lived in both states, the people, the geography, and the relative-Cosmopolitanism is pretty similar across the board. Not all Wisconsinites have sexual relations with dead deer, and not all Minnesotans have a rabid obsession with hockey.

With that said, my deep hatred for UW comes from (most of) the people I know who attend there. There's quite a bit of "Madison is the center of the Universe" culture over there.

I get a tear in the eye and a tug in the heart everytime I hear the "F- Bo Ryan" chants from the barnyard. Hope the group is primed

Will this be the first game since the F Bo chant? Last year Wisconsin did not play at the barn. IMO the chant was a justified response to a few Badger fans starting a "Let's Go Badgers" chant. Short of that happening again, I hope the students (or old folks) do not reprise the F chant. I assume Tubby sent a email about good behavior to the students.

Was that a 3-2 zone I saw in that video? That would be interesting to see us do that.

That was my senior year and Tubby did send such an email.

I would expect a link to support something that outrageous! (meaning the born and raised Wisconsinites, not transplants)

I was at an ATM in Wisconsin over the weekend and an old lady wearing a Badgers jacket asked me for help checking her balance. So I pushed her over.

Oh ya, well I was in a class at a school in Wisconsin and every time a guy with a Badgers hat said something I would say "*COUGH**&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# bo ryan*COUGH COUGH COUGH*"

This one made me laugh so hard that I actually choked on my taco salad!!

Thanks!! Loved it!! It is an old one but a good one!!

Call me immature, but I loved the F Bo Ryan Chant, that's what rivalries are all about.

The Bo Ryan chant is by far one of the greatest moments of recent gopher bb history. This of course is right up there too.

I will never forget Westbrook trying to dunk on the entire Badger team at the buzzer a couple years ago. More players need to have that level of hatred for Wisconsin.

I was in a luxury box for that game. It was absolutely incredible.

Q: You know why Jesus wasn't born in Wisconsin?

A: They couldn't find three wise men or a virgin.
