Often play down to their opponents during the game but during the last 5 minutes or so they can play defense and/or make the shots to win. Look at Wisconsin vs. PState They looked terrible for most of the game but crunch time the game was theirs. How many times have we seen our Gophers wilt at crunch time... The Illinois game was another game in which we almost chocked that one away.

If you view overtime as crunch time, we did all right at home against Illinois.

It is called having a go-to-guy in crunch time. Wisky has Taylor, Purdue has Hummel, MSU has Green, Illinois has Paul, Mich. has Hardaway Jr. and OSU has Sullinger/Buford. We have Ralph or Rodney, both who are not going to be on any All-Big Ten teams.
