Illini down by 6 on the road in 2nd half to Gopher road kill PSU. Keep on truckin' Lions. Welcome back to the middle Illini - with two losses, no team has fewer than 2 losses in the B1G and the Gophers are incredibly only 2 back in the loss column, one of 10 teams with 4 or fewer losses.

Penn State upset @Illinois - Gophers could have a good stretch vs. IL @ home and @ IA and Nebraska.
 

Jerry Palm still has the Gophers in the tourney, but if they don't make it, you can clearly look at the bad, bad loss at home against Iowa and the one that was very winnable in Champaign as "the ones tha got away".

What a wild year! Duh, but there's not a "given" left for us. On the other hand, there's a bunch of games that suddenly look very winnable. The Big Ten Tourney looking bigger and bigger.
