NW over MSU: MSU gave up

Just watched the end of the NW/MSU replay. Kinda stunned. MSU down 9 with 46.7 seconds to go and essentially just lets NW run the clock down.

WTH??
 

Izzy apparently didn't have team watch MN v. IU. If that NW 1-3-1 is effective, it can take the starch out of an opponent. I hope the Gopher guards can pass over it and find the seams down low next week.
