nice win over IU by gophers & tubby. thought we were seeing welch blows it pt. 2

welch bricks those 2 free throws that would have iced it for sure and of course my mind turned immediately to the gopher vs. illini game a couple weeks back when welch threw up all over himself on 2 different chances to ice a win over illinois at illinois' barn. thankfully it didn't come back to bite us again this game against IU.

I dunno...Welch couldn't put it away, which has happened a few times now, but I thought he was pretty poised throughout the game. I couldn't help but notice how loud that place was all game long. That's gotta be a pretty tough (read: one of the toughest) environment to knock down a couple free throws in a pressure situation. I was VERY impressed to see Coleman knock down those big ones as a freshman. Great, great win.

The rebound was bouncing back toward him after the second miss and he didn't go after it. He stood there with his shooting hand in the the air and his head down.
