STrib Q&A with Blake Hoffarber

"Where Are They Now"?

It's been 8 months. Jeesh.

This isn't an update on Spinal Taps' drummers.

Maybe next week there will be one about Kim Royston.

I'm guessing they are all dead.

No, you'll recall that they can't "all die". True, there have been some curious cases of spontaneous combustion--those cases are best left unsolved.

Can't dust vomit!

I think this was really strange time to have released this article when two days ago Charley Walters wrote this:

Blake Hoffarber, the former Gophers sharpshooter, is back in Minnesota after averaging 10 points and five rebounds for the Fos Ouest Provence team in France. Hoffarber, who led the team in three-point shooting (40 percent), lost his job when another foreign player who had been injured rejoined the roster. Only three foreign players are allowed on the roster.

Hoffarber's parents, Bruce and Shauna, recently visited the former Minnesota Mr. Basketball from Hopkins and saw him score a team-high 19 points in a victory over Quimper. Hoffarber, his girlfriend and his parents planned to attend Saturday's Gophers victory over St. Peter's at Williams Arena.
