It here, the State of Minnesota and the State of Wisconsin will meet 4 times this weekend, 2 times in Hockey, 1 time in College Football and 1 time in the NFL.
 

Wisconsin 3, Minnesota 1 in hockey on Friday night in Madison. The weekend is off to a great start!
 

Dominating game tonight by the Gophers!! We owned the 3rd period and blew the game open in the final minutes.

Good stuff.

My favorite part of today? When the football team decided to show off the axe to the fans at the Kohl Center. They were cheering and touching it giving it tons of air on the BTN. In the meantime the Gophers scored three straight goals and shut that place up.
 

Wisconsin is a so-so hockey team this year. They should be feel lucky they caught the Gophers the weekend after sweeping the UND series. The letdown in the Gophers for the Friday night game was obvious and sconnie capitalized on it. Saturday night was a different story and seeing the parading of the axe backfire was delicious.
 


33-14 shots on goal advantage. Can't get much more dominating than that.

Very accurate post. No doubt the Gophs had a bit of an emotional hang over from the UND series.
