...When Brewster came it took a few games into that first season for the "bitterness of repeated defeat," especially at home in the Dome, to erode what good will he had gained between the original hire and start of the season...as that season imploded thus was born The Bitter End Club.
...Now as Gopher Nation girds itself in the face of the reality of another long haul with Coach Kill and his staff at the helm...with losses at home to NMSU and NDSU followed by today's shellacking in the Big 10 opener...thus there appears the need to resurrect The Bitter End Club.
Stayed tuned to the bitter end today...and remained sober to boot due to the need to drive later today...no fun.
The post-game radio show's Ray Hitchcock is a true believer in Coach Kill's record of accomplishment...I too am committed to the bitter end. Surely, we can only go up from here...
