Marcus Fuller blog: Royston leading Big Ten in tackling is a telling stat


That is an issue, I wonder if it is related to doing alot of blitzing or is the running back getting through untouched that much. Either case it probably isn't very good.
 

How can this be? The old codger who sits directly behind me mentions many times during the game that #3 is the worst player on the field. He never makes tackles.
Also, he gets frustrated when Marquise Gray is on the kickoff team stating that Kill doesn't know what he's doing. I guess Johnny Johnson looks a lot like Marquise Gray! :eek:
 

Minnesota senior safety Kim Royston leads the Big Ten with 10.2 tackles a game, but he knows there is a reason for that.

He clearly is the problem on defense!:rolleyes:
