Interesting to hear that he was at Mayo already on Friday and went against the advice of the doctors at that point. Thank goodness he finally made it there on Sunday. Thanks for posting!

I do like Maturi's unambiguous support of coach kill while he takes time off. It paramount that coach gets his condition under control.

- Now that he is hospitalized once again, "I'm pretty certain he's not going to be defiant about his care. Jerry's really pretty good at listening to his doctors," Maturi said. "If they say, 'You've got to get X hours of sleep,' or something to limit his workload, I think he will heed them."

- Jerry Kill was examined by Mayo Clinic specialists Friday morning and was encouraged to remain at the hospital for treatment of his epileptic condition, sources at the university said Monday. But it wasn't until the Gophers football coach suffered another seizure at home Sunday morning that Kill agreed to return to Rochester for an extended evaluation.

Did Maturi even know Kill went to Mayo on Friday? How can he say Kill is good at listening to his doctors when they recommended he check in already on Friday, yet Kill left and went on to coach on Saturday and didn't check back in until he had another seizure on Sunday? Hopefully Mayo can figure out a way to prevent/control his seizures so he can get back to helping improve our team.
