How many breakaways did we give up?

I simply couldn't believe how many times the Wolverines got easy baskets on the break, including a couple two on nones in a row. We cave them up in a variety of ways too. Lazy passes being intercepted, badly missed shots leading to long rebounds and no one getting back besides the shooter. Worst of all were a couple plays when they got shorter rebounds or loose balls and instead of hustling back or really pressing the ball, we half heartedly went towards the ball which allowed them to easily throw a long outlet.

This team has some problems that I think will clear up with a year of playing together under their belts but I cannot rationalize away the fact that tonight we were incredibly lazy in getting back on D.

This is not an original observation, but it's clear that we don't play very aggressively or intelligently when we enter a game expecting to lose. That seems to have happened a lot lately.
