That, my friends, is what we should aspire to with Tubby as our coach. Two dynamite teams with talent & toughness up the ying-yang. Watching that game really makes you realize how far the Gophers still have to go to get anywhere near that level.
 

I was thinking the exact same thing, SS. That was real basketball. Very enjoyable game.
 

One thing that I noticed is that both teams had two or three players willing to push the break on every single possession. Two or three guys who could handle the ball up the court and the dexterity to finish. The Gophers lack that right now.
 

It was a good game and it made me think that the Gophers have a long way to go too. But, then I remembered that Michigan played UConn tough at UConn. I also didn't see either team shoot the lights out. So maybe we can get where they are.
