Big STrib article: Tyus Jones: A 'feel for the game'

Tyus played 13 mins last night in the USA's easy win over Brazil, 105-70. They'll play again in Cancun tonight at 6pm CT, this time against Argentina. Stream will *likely* be available at fibaamericas.com. Tyus is #6, in case you tune in.

The US had an easy go of it last night, using a 22-3 second quarter advantage to go up 55-22 by halftime. Jabari Parker was a monster in the first half and finished the game with 27 pts and 10 rebounds on 9/10 FG shooting (2/3 3FG) in 20 minutes.

Tyus was 1/1 from the floor and had 2 points, 2 assists, 3 stals and a turnover. In addition to Parker, the other double-figure scorers for the US were Jahlil Okafor (19), Stanley Johnson (14) and Aaron Gordon (11).

Assuming Tubby's still around and Tyus continues to climb the charts, I'd rank Jones as Tubby's first true "must-get." (Royce was pretty much a foregone conlcusion)

Jones is the kind of elite Minnesota kid for which we're paying Tubby the big bucks. ... to get the true national-type recruits to stay at home when they have elite programs (i.e. Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, Michigan State, etc.) as legitimate options.
