During the Minneapolis Marathon yesterday our group of 5 guys had made custom "Coach Kill" t-shirts and I was shocked at how many people in the crowd and race knew who he was and every single person had a positive opinion about our coach. To my shock it made the star tribune sports section, but my point is that so far he really has the fan base pumped up. I know that in the long-run he will have to get the Wins to maintain his support, but it looks like he is starting to gain serious 'street cred' among the general population for being a good charactered coach and everyone seems to appreciate his hard-working style and care for his players and school.
