SEC to limit signings...28 to 25

Good for the SEC, although the article as it is written is confusing because it states that the new signing limit would be 28 and then later says it will be 25. I am assuming it will be 25 because it already was 28. The back counting rule is tougher than the BigTen or the Pac12, so they have really cranked it up. Given that they will have a somewhat harder time making up for guys who flunk out, it should also put more emphasis on kids who can stay in school, although with a total of 85 and 25 per year, with decent class balance they can still fix it in a year. Between backcounting Jan grads and oversigning a lot, they have always been in a postion to have 85 kids on scholarship, even with attrition. Now they will really have to look at their recruiting strategies to make sure that happens. The guys who will be hurt the most are the guys who abuse it the most like MS, LSU, SoCar, and TN. I don' think it will have a huge impact on GA, or Florida.
