B1G nonconference scheduling tidbit (Michigan)

Apparently Royce White & Company will visit Ann Arbor this winter. This UM blogger doesn't seem too thrilled about it, but that could end up being a quality home matchup for the Wolverines. ISU certainly is one I'd never be opposed to having on the Gophers' schedule.

Iowa State is a team of some intrigue going into next season. I believe based on their talent level they should be an NCAA tourney team, but if things go poorly (taking a lot of castoffs tends to not work out perfectly) they could miss the postseason altogether. They certainly have some guys there in transfers Chris Allen, Chris Babb, and a couple of their returnees that have proven they can produce fairly well at the BCS level. Royce is sort of an x-factor for them - if he plays well, they have a good chance at being a top-25 team, but if he doesn't produce at all, then they could have big problems in the frontcourt.
