Gridiron
In Africa the game of soccer is called football. Our football is called gridiron. They are very curious about our sport and understand it not at all. They do not take the same condesending attitude towards it that so many Americans have towards soccer. The big exception would be the South African rugby players and fans who think our football players are pussies because of the helmet and all the pads they wear.
